St Ives Judo Course
we are BACK… St Ives Easter Course 2026.
We are over the moon to be opening the St. Ives Easter Course 2026 and so looking forward to meeting up with our judo friends and supporters.
Judo will take place on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April in our temporary venue at the Island Centre, next to St Ives dojo.
(The minimum grade is 3 orange tabs for primaries)
Judo will be at: The Island Centre, 2 The Ropewalk. St Ives, TR26 1SY. This is adjacent to St Ives Judo Club which will also be used as additional mat space.
2023 Thank You – Ebinuma
Ebinuma Masashi was the Guest Coach for St Ives 2023. Ebinuma is a triple world champion, having won in 2011, 2013 and 2014. A dominant force in -66kg weight group, he was ranked first in the world for three years. He is regarded as an ultimate stylist of seoi nage. He is also known for being a quadruple All-Japan National Champion. Ebinuma won bronze medals at the 2012 Olympics and the 2016 Olympics.

This is a BJC National Grading points scoring course approved by the President Robin Otani. Thank you to course organisers Jacky Gray 7th Dan, Tom Gray 6th Dan, Bernard Richmond 6th Dan, Heather Farr 6th Dan, and Corinna Trathen 4th Dan.
Kana Ebinuma
We were delighted to have two-time World Team Champion, two-time All Japan Champion, three times Grand Slam Champion and IJF World Masters Champion Kana Ebinuma for St Ives 2023. She joined her husband, Masashi Ebinuma to deliver fantastic masterclasses for Junior and Senior Judoka.
